A primary school in Galway city and another the county have made it to the national finals of a prestigious art competition.

St Nicholas National School, An Cladach, An Gaillimh and Scoil Naomh Fursa, Claran, Headford are celebrating being named Junior and Senior County Winners respectively of the prestigious national art competition, Someone Like Me, which will see them join 48other schools to compete for the much sought-after national title at the national awards ceremony to be held at Dublin City Hall on Wednesday January 18 2023.
