ONE OF the most successful plays of recent years, John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt: A Parable is coming to the Town Hall Theatre for what is sure to be a highlight of the venue’s current season.

WE ARE only a couple of weeks into January but it is already looking like a happy new year for actor Diarmuid de Faoite. He has just been nominated for a Best Actor IFTA for his role in TG4’s Corp + Anam and he is about to take one of the leads in the Town Hall’s forthcoming production of John Patrick Shanley’s hit play Doubt - a Parable.

AMONG THE many notable events being staged in Galway to mark the Volvo Ocean Race, one of the highlights is Druid’s revival of their much-lauded Playboy Of The Western World at the Town Hall for five nights only, from June 2 to 6.
