St Mary’s Secondary School, Ballina Present “¡Mama Mia, Papa Mia!”
St Mary’s Secondary School, Ballina, is currently performing its “¡Mama Mia, Papa Mia!”musical which has a three-night run at the school, ending tonight, Friday, February 15. With a custom made set and in-house led production, under the guidance of director and script-writer, Mr Peter McLoughlin, Musical Director, Ms Regina Deacy and Choreographer, Ms Annette Leonard, the team also incorporates the talents of the Art Department led by Ms Renee Cronin and the team of Home Economics teachers, spearheaded by Ms Marie Clarke and Ms Regina Hallahan, coordinating costumes.

Creative students from Mayo set to perform in The 3 Arena
What do Justin Bieber, Adele and some secondary school students from Mayo have in common? Well on April 14 2016 they can all say that they have performed in the 3 Arena Dublin! Creative teams from across the country will take to Ireland’s most prestigious stage to showcase their couture creations made from rubbish as part of the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture competition hosted by Xpose’s Glenda Gilson.
