The archive of Conradh na Gaeilge, Ireland’s oldest Irish language organisation, has been launched by NUI Galway. The archive, which extends to 600,000 pages of documents, books, photos, and ephemera collected throughout the organisation’s nearly 130-year history, has been fully catalogued and is now available to researchers.

Conradh na Gaeilge is running a special six week online Irish language course for beginners or those who wish to return to using Irish again. These classes aim to facilitate learners in a relaxed, friendly, environment where the emphasis is on conversational Irish and words and phrases that are in everyday use.

Conradh na Gaeilge is running a 10 week Irish language course for just €145. There will be four different levels available on this course, with classes held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The teachers have several years of experience facilitating classes to enable learners to develop what they hear, read, and speak in the language.
