Bang the drum — Galway to host 2027 Marching Show Bands World Championships
Galway has been selected as the host city for the 2027 World Association of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) World Championships, a global event that will bring thousands of musicians and performers to the city from 13–15 August 2027. It is anticipated that this will generate 25,000 bed-nights in the city during the festival.
