The 2011 Bord Gais Energy Ladies Football National League kicks off on Sunday with Kilkenny hosting Westmeath in Urlingford. Kilkenny ladies could be forgiven for facing Roscommon somewhat with intrepidation in this TG4 intermediate ladies football fixture, having suffered a heavy defeat to the Rossies in the national league semi final in April. The Cats were well beaten by Longford in their opening game of the championship while Roscommon managed a draw with Longford a week earlier. However the form book was well and truly torn up and the Cats were unlucky not to come away with a win at Larchfield on Sunday last.
