These woods run along the famous Split Hills and Long Hill Esker located halfway between Tyrrellspass and Kilbeggan in County Westmeath. The wood is protected as a special area of conservation due to its unique and important woodland and wild flowers. This guided walk is free of charge and all are welcome. So come along to get some new year’s exercise and learn about this local natural gem.
