Galway Cathedral is delighted to announce the return of its much anticipated Live Crib on Thursday next December 14, inviting visitors from 11:30am to 4:00 pm to immerse themselves in the true spirit of the Christmas season.

The final preparations are being made in Galway Cathedral for the upcoming annual Novena which runs for nine days from Monday March 6 to Tuesday March 14.

‘Faith In Challenging Times’ is the theme of this year's Galway Cathedral Novena which takes place March 6-14.

Bishop Michael Duignan will be installed as the new Bishop of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Apostolic Administrator of Kilfenora in a ceremony to be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and Saint Nicholas on Sunday. He will also continue to minister as Bishop of Clonfert.
