The Railyard senior ladies team made the trip to Blessington at the weekend to take part in the annual Mick Reid seven-a-side competition which was hosted by Blessington ladies football club with the proceeds going to local cancer fundraising.

The Brogmaker Ladies Football senior semi finals took place on Monday evening with Freshford and Railyard advancing to this year’s senior final. Freshford had a comfortable 4-10 to 3-3 win over Tullogher who acquitted themselves well in their first year at senior level.

Kilkenny ladies welcome Roscommon to Jenkinstown this Sunday in the Division 3 Bord Gais Energy National Football League quarter final. The sides have never met before in competitive action so this will be new territory for the Cats.
