THE BARRY McGivern Band have been playing the music of Rory Gallagher since the man himself was still with us, and they are coming to play Galway tomorrow.

BARRY MCGIVERN is a self taught guitarist who first saw Rory Gallagher on TV in 1969 performing with his power trio Taste, before eventually seeing the Irish blues legend more than 30 times in concert.

Rory Gallagher is remembered at The Stables Bar, Mullingar this Sunday March 31 in a manner he no doubt would have wanted, by a tribute performance from a class band that celebrates his legendary status through many of his best known and fondly covered classic rock/blues covers.
