Iarnród Éireann has announced the winners of 100 free trips on its services as part of its community initiative, The Journey’s On Us. More than 700 organisations from right across the community, voluntary, and sporting sectors applied. The winners were chosen with the help of Volunteers Centres Ireland and The Wheel.

All proceeds of the Ballintubber GAA lotto for the week October 9 to 16 will be donated to the Mayo Down Syndrome Association.

The Mayo Down Syndrome Association will be holding its annual church gate collection in most churches throughout Mayo this weekend.
