“Politicians and diapers need to be changed often…for the same reasons.” This quote (wrongly) attributed to Mark Twain is among what must be millions of jokes told to show politicians in a bad light.

Eyre Square, Galway’s leading shopping centre, is due to be brought to the market by Colliers. Developed by McInerneys in 1991, it remains the city’s premier retail destination comprising over 70 retail units and kiosks attracting approx. 270,000 visitors a week.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens was an American writer, better known by his pen name, Mark Twain. Among many achievements, he is credited with the saying “travel broadens the mind”. But something we have learned in recent weeks during this Covid-19 ‘lock in’ is that sometimes staying at home can do that too, or at least it can help refocus the mind.
