AIB Galway hosted a community event for COPE Galway and Galway Hospice last week in the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit. In attendance was GAA Hurler of the Year Joe Canning and his fellow All-star teammate Gearoid Mc Inerney. More than 300 people attended the event to help raise funds for the two charities. Over €1,500 was raised which will be split evenly amongst the two charities.

COPE Galway has launched its 26th annual Christmas Day Swim and the local charity is calling on all Galwegians to once again don the togs and make a splash in order to raise much needed funds.
