Luan Gallery was the intimate riverside venue for the SA LÁR Westmeath Artists Awards talk which took place on Saturday afternoon last.

Luan Gallery opened 'Athrú, an Invocation' a group exhibition featuring Irish artists Mark Clare, Rosie O’Reilly, and Teresa Dillon with guest speaker Sarah Searson, on Friday, July 7.

Luan Gallery, in association with New Horizon Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support, will host a community event to welcome, support, and celebrate new members of the extended community to Athlone. The event will be chaired by Breaking Borders exhibiting artist Vukašin Nedeljkovic and will start at 5.30pm on Wednesday August 31. This event is supported by Creative Ireland and Westmeath County Council.

Luan Gallery will present two exhibitions side by side for the months of July and August.

Luan Gallery has opened its winter 2016 exhibition to great aplomb. Without the Words is a group touring exhibition featuring the works of Illustrators Ireland members and is a celebration of the brightest talents of Irish illustration today.
