CONNEMARA BASED publishing company, Doire Press, will mark its 10th birthday with a cross-border/cross-genre reading and panel discussion as part of this weekend's Dublin Book Festival.

AHEAD OF Bloomsday, County Galway publishing house Doire Press will hold the launch of a new poetry collection, Furey, by James Joyce. The Joyce in question is not the author of Ulysses but Galway’s own James Martyn Joyce, and the collection revolves around the vivid, memorable, persona of Furey.

AUTHORS, POETS, and dramatists - from Ireland, Canada, and the USA - will read from their work at the July Over The Edge Writers’ Gathering in the Galway City Library, St Augustine Street, next week.
