A new initiative aimed at encouraging people to explore the outdoors safely and confidently has been launched in Ballyhoura, a rural outdoor destination spanning counties Limerick and Cork and part of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. The initiative will see guided walks taking place across the Ballyhoura and Galtee region over the coming months, along with selected walks in nearby mountain areas.

They had been arrested during a raid on their training camp in the Currandulla area six weeks earlier.
