The work of a Kilkenny priest who devoted his life to the care of the poor, the hungry and the displaced, is to be supported by a new organisation which has just been formed in North Kilkenny and South Laois.

The Friends of Fr Kevin Doheny, in conjunction with Vita, recently held a sponsored walk to raise funds and awareness for their twinning projects with Chencha, in Arba Minch, Ethiopia. The walk was from different points, namely Ballyouskill, Ballyragget, Castlecomer and Ballinakill.
