More than 15,000 comedy fans are set to arrive in the city during the October Bank Holiday weekend to attend the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, an event which is expected to boost the local economy by at least €5 million.

The full line-up for the Vodafone Comedy Carnival 2017 has been revealed.

FOIL ARMS & Hog, Ardal O’Hanlon, Rich Hall, Francesca Martinez, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience have been added to the already impressive bill of acts coming west to play the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway 2017 from Tuesday October 24 to Monday 30.

JON RICHARDSON, Al Porter, Katy Brand, and Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Patton Oswalt - on their own that would be an impressive array of headline comedy acts, but they are only the first wave of performers announced for the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway 2017.
