Role of electronic communication studied in Declan Clarke's The Last Broadcast

Declan Clarke’s solo exhibition The Last Broadcast opens on 29th April at Galway Arts Centre. A special screening of the exhibition’s central work What Are the Wild Waves Saying? takes place in Galway Arts Centre’s Nuns Island Theatre at 5pm, followed by Q+A with the artist in conversation with author Emilie Pine- author of the bestseller Notes to Self and Professor of Modern Drama at UCD.

Nerve and Sinew exhibition at Custom House Studios

Custom House Studios in Westport are pleased to present Nerve and Sinew, a collection of paintings by artists Betsy Stirratt and Chanelle Walshe. The exhibition opened this week and will run at the studio until Sunday, July 9. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 17 both artists will be at the Custom House Studios to talk about their work with Alice Maher at 2pm.

Mayo sings this weekend

Following on from the amazing opening concert in Knock Basilica, more than 1,000 singers will take part in the fifth Mayo International Choral Festival this weekend, performing songs from many genres, including jazz, pop, folk, sacred and gospel music. Mayo in May - the mecca for all music lovers.
