Black tea is good for your heart
New research has revealed that drinking just one cup of regular black tea per day may help to protect against cardiovascular disease, thereby keeping the heart healthy. This is the first study to show that drinking black tea, depending on the dose, reduces both blood pressure and arterial stiffness, helping to maintain a person’s cardiovascular health. The research was conducted at the University of L’Aquila in Italy and supported by the Lipton Institute of Tea.
