Due to the phenomenal success of last year’s choral event, the Kilkenny Arts Festival is pleased to announce information regarding Festival Chorus 2011. The festival is calling on members of choirs from throughout Ireland to take part in an exclusive choral project that will run during this year’s festival. Those involved will be provided with tuition from experienced singers under the direction of Fergus Sheil.

The 37th Kilkenny Arts Festival was launched this week with a special choir singing the entire programme to the tune of Handel’s Messiah.
