Having had an enjoyable stroll through Galway city and county, it is abundantly clear that Galway literally has everything that anyone could possible want for Christmas, and at a price that despite the budget, we can afford. Also shopping in Galway is fun! And the shops are making every effort to meet our limited pockets by having bargains and beautifully decorated shops. Then after a hectic few hours shopping, and everyone sorted, a hot mulled cider, or a cool German beer in the Bier Keller, at the Eyre Square Christmas market tent, is a blast! Westport drama group beat the recession blues with Galway performance of classic play
St Patricks Drama Group Westport, a non-profit organisation founded in 1964, are coming to Galway next week with their newest production Widows Paradise. This three-act comedy, written by Sam Cree, is one of the most entertaining plays ever staged by the group and will transport the audience to nostalgic moments of the 60s and will be staged at the Town Hall on Thursday June 2.
A night in November with Passionfruit
Passionfruit Theatre Company presents the wonderful play by Marie Jones, A Night In November. This highly entertaining one-man show, featuring Ollie Hegarty and directed by Fidelma Nixon, has just finished a very successful run in Kiltoom, Co Roscommon.
