A great crowd attended the golf club recently to pay tribute to John Maher on the occasion of his retirement from the bar in the club. John has been the friendly face in the bar for the past twenty five years and has recently faced serious health problems.

The 32nd Annual Festival of Golf started with great excitement last weekend.  The initial event as always was the four person team event which ran over Friday and Saturday and this event was followed on Sunday with a men’s 18h singles stableford.
