Paintbox ’99 celebrates the talent of local artists with new exhibition

Paintbox '99 Art Group was formed by a group of women of diverse backgrounds and talents from Roscommon, with a shared love of creating art. For almost two decades this group has continued to meet regularly and also attend classes with established artists’ from the region. Working with various mediums including acrylic, oil, mixed media and watercolour, these artists' influences are wide and varying including the local landscape both natural and manmade, and flora and fauna. This July Roscommon Arts Centre welcomes Paintbox '99 as the first of a season of summer exhibitions by local Roscommon-based artists. The exhibition continues until Thursday July 28.
