Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland has launched a practical guide which will assist families experiencing dyspraxia/DCD with their child’s transition from primary to secondary school. Entitled The Next Adventure, the booklet provides constructive advice for families, teachers, and educational establishments, as well as useful checklists for children, parents, and teachers.

Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland, the organisation which provides information and a national support network for parents, teenagers, and adults, will hold an awareness event in Galway next week.

Many parents have a child who exhibits traits of dyspraxia and yet have no idea that this disorder exists, or that it can be managed in the home with proper planning, management, and resources.
