The 2021 League champions Galway did not enjoy the dream start they would have liked in the Very Ireland Division 1A opening league game against Tipperary, losing by 4-9 to 1-9.

All Ireland champions Galway are through to the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League division one final against Cork on April 9 after a 1-11 to 0-13 win over Tipperary.

With the elite contestants in the senior camogie ranks now clearly defined, Galway will look to reach their third decider in a row as the same four counties prepare for Sunday’s All -Ireland semi-finals for the fourth successive year.
