The semi-finalists for the Windows and Rooflights Senior A Championship has been decided after an exciting weekend of Camogie.

It was another busy weekend in the Senior A, B and Intermediate camogie championships. In the Senior A competition, Carnmore and St Thomas recorded their first victories of the championship while Athenry and Sarsfields continued their unbeaten run. In the Senior B contest, Kinvara and Shamrocks had to split the spoils while Mountbellew recorded their first win in the seniors ranks. There were also wins for Clarinbridge and Castlegar. Finally in the Intermediate championship, there were victories for Ahascragh Caltra, Killimor and St Colmans while Cappataggle and Abbeyknockmoy had to share the points.

A controversial goal awarded to Cork despite looking like it had been thrown over the line ultimately proved the difference between victors Cork and a determined Galway side in an enthralling decider at Croke Park on Sunday.

Two frees from Carrie Dolan either side of an equalising point from Aoife Donohue carried Galway across the finish line in a tense and dramatic Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior camogie championship semi-final at UPMC Nowlan Park this afternoon, sending the Tribeswomen back to Croke Park for their first final in three years.
