Gift Grub Live 3 is coming to Galway
MARIO ROSENSTOCK, one of Ireland’s greatest satirists, impersonators, and comedians is bringing his new show Gift Grub Live 3 to Galway.
James Stephens and Shamrocks come through to set up repeat of 2009 final
It is strange days indeed when the championship draw is confirmed before the league format is sorted out.
The local scene finally swings into action
The inter-county scene draws to a close this weekend, with old rivals Kerry and Dublin going toe to toe for football’s highest accolade.
No vintage performance, but Cats are back in another final
Kilkenny secured a record sixth All-Ireland final appearance in a row last Sunday, when they had six points to spare over Waterford.

Coming soon: Kilkenny v Tipp Part II
Tipperary's emphatic semi-final victory over Waterford last Sunday guarantees us another mouth-watering All-Ireland final. Hurling fans worldwide will be looking forward to September 5 for Kilkenny v Tipp Part II. During the noughties it was Kilkenny and Cork who went head to head on a couple of occasions. The Cats are still going strong but the Rebels have passed the baton onto the Premier county. This is the first back to back final between these two counties. When you talk of sporting rivalries they simply don't come any greater than Kilkenny and Tipp. The colour, excitement and raw emotion of last year’s decider is a testament to this.
Experience the key as Waterford triumph over youthful Clare

So with the World Cup just about to get underway the GAA got a great boost when Waterford and Clare did battle in Thurles last Monday.
A bit of luck and the Cats can become immortal
The battle for the Liam McCarthy gets under way this weekend when neighbours Laois and Carlow meet at O'Moore Park. The GAA's lack of imagination when launching both the football and hurling championships this year was once again very disappointing.
