Penney and Fahy secure gold at the National Senior Championships

Penney took gold in the High Jump with a best leap of 2.10 metres with a stunning series of jumping. Clubmate Darragh Kelly secured bronze with 1.95 metres. Penney later added bronze in the testing 110m Hurdles event.

The quartet of Moore, Kate O'Connell (Lucan Harriers), Victoria Amiadamen (Dooneen AC), and Jenna Breen (City of Lisburn AC) clocked a time of 3:34.81 to dip under the previous record (3:34.87) set in 2017.
