The Health Economics and Policy Analysis research group at NUI Galway will host a one day conference on obesity Friday, 17 January. Obesity is complex, interdisciplinary problem that involves genetics, physiology, the environment, psychology, and economics.

Gareth Jones from Glasson Hotel and Country Club was one of 20 owners and senior managers in the Irish tourism sector to recently graduate from the Fáilte Ireland executive management programme which is designed in conjunction with Cornell University, USA.
