Over 500 young people involved in Comhairle na nÓg, including members from Galway County and City, gathered at Croke Park recently to showcase and celebrate their wide range of achievements and be inspired by a host of speakers and entertainers.

Crinniú na nÓg is an annual national initiative celebrating the creative potential of children and young people. Galway is hosting a series of wonderful events across the county on Saturday 15 June, following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event.

Galway City Comhairle na nÓg is a youth council for young people aged 12 to 18 living or attending school in Galway city. Each year at the youth council’s AGM more than 100 young people from across the city attend and vote on an issue that is important to young people.
