Maree Basketball Club is preparing to contest two National Cup finals in Tallaght on the last weekend in January following semi-final action last weekend in Cork.

Maree are through to the quarter-finals of the Men’s National Cup following Saturday’s 84 – 48 win over Fr Mathews of Cork in Calasanctius Gym, Oranmore. Liam Conroy led with 12 points in a game that saw five Maree players score 10 or more.

Maree, still top of the Men’s National League Southern Conference, turn their attention to cup action this weekend.
