Company law expert to address Companies Act at NUI Galway Law School Lecture

The commencement of the Companies Act 2014 earlier this year (June 2015) has had new and far reaching consequences for company directors, lawyers and accountants. Chairman of the Company Law Review Group, and the driving force behind the 2014 Act, Dr Thomas Courtney, will deliver a lecture in the School of Law at NUI Galway on Tuesday evening next, November 24 at 6pm.

Mayo hope to have a new senior manager in place by the third week in November, it was revealed this week. Speaking at the October meeting of the Mayo GAA county board, chairman Mike Connelly said the board had now opened up nominations for the position and the nominations process would close on Sunday November 1.
