Lou Marelle Lingerie opened its doors on Cavendish Lane, Castlebar, in 2001. It has been nominated as one of the best shops in the UK and Ireland by Underlines magazine, a UK based lingerie publication. A measure of the success it has achieved over the last nine years is the opening in 2007 of another shop in Ballina, where it offers a complete range of beautiful lingerie from all leading brands from sizes AA to JJ.
