A fun children’s tennis club will take place every Saturday from now until Christmas at Ballina Tennis Club from 3pm to 4.30pm. The club is for children from seven years of age to 15 years of age. Members €2, non-members €5, to register text (086) 3512412.

The multi-purpose sports hall can be used for a wide range of activities including soccer, basketball and badminton. Children’s birthday parties are especially welcome.

Sports projects in Mayo receive €16,000 in funding

Twenty-five sports projects throughout Mayo have received a total of € 16,000 in funding under the Mayo Sports Partnerships Special Participation Project Initiative Scheme 2009.
