As part of its continued growth as an organisation, the team at Ardán is relocating its headquarters from the CREW Hub on Wellpark Road into Galway city centre. Ardán is a film, TV, games, and animation organisation based in Galway that supports the creative screen industries across the West of Ireland and throughout the country.

Galway’s role as the crucial meeting point for the Irish Film and TV industry to plan and prepare for the challenges facing the sector was reinforced by the 2026 FÍS Film and TV Summit – the largest and most expanded in the event’s nine-year history.

TG4 presents Against All Certainty – Ceiliúradh ar Mhicheál D. Ó hUiginn, a powerful and uplifting celebration of poetry, music and performance honouring President Michael D. Higgins and the release of his debut spoken-word album Against All Certainty, on Claddagh Records. The programme airs on TG4 on Saturday 3 January at 9.00pm and will be available to audiences worldwide on TG4.ie.
