The 2024 annual Cathaoirleach’s Ball has raised almost €15,000 for two Galway-based charities.

The Cathaoirleach of the County of Galway, Cllr Liam Carroll has named local charities ACT for Meningitis and i4Life as the beneficiaries of the Cathaoirleach’s Gala Ball being held at The Clayton Hotel on Thursday May 16.

ACT for Meningitis founder Siobhan Carroll has been invited to serve as a member of the World Health Organisation Strategy Support Group for the global road map to defeat meningitis by 2030.
