The Mullingar St Patrick’s Day parade takes place this Sunday March 17 at 3pm. The street entertainment this year begins at 2pm throughout the town and will include an arts and crafts exhibition, inflatable funzone, tug-o-war competition, display by local dance school, and much more. This year will also see live music in Market Square from 5.30pm onwards.

After almost two centuries of a military presence in the town, the 4th Field Artillery Regiment will have pride of place as Grand Marshal in next weekend’s St Patrick’s Day Parade, just 10 days before it pulls out of Mullingar for good.
