DISCOVERY, THE new exhibition by Galway artist Pat Flannery, fearturing works concentrating on nature, particularly the animal and floral world, opens tomorrow in The Renzo Gallery Café on Eyre Street.

AIB Galway hosted a community event for COPE Galway and Galway Hospice last week in the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit. In attendance was GAA Hurler of the Year Joe Canning and his fellow All-star teammate Gearoid Mc Inerney. More than 300 people attended the event to help raise funds for the two charities. Over €1,500 was raised which will be split evenly amongst the two charities.

Galway hurling team players will champion two great causes, Galway Hospice and COPE Galway, in a community event hosted by AIB Galway staff.
