AIDS West are to offer free confidential rapid HIV Testing on the last Tuesday of each month at the Teach Solais Centre, Merchants Road, Galway starting Tuesday 31 January.

World AIDS Day, taking place on Thursday, December 1, is a day people all over the world come together to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, encourage progress in prevention, treatment, and care, and break down the stigma and discrimination still surrounding the condition.

People living with HIV are being sought to take part in a study being carried out by the Health Promotions Centre at NUI Galway.
