An eight-year-old Kilkenny student, Francis Walsh from Scoil Lachtain National School in Freshford, is a finalist in the Le Crunch Health Heroes poster competition. His poster, which illustrates the theme 'Picture of Health' by promoting good food choices and a healthy lifestyle, will now go on display in all Dunnes Stores outlets and he needs your help to win.
Shoppers will find forms in store and are asked to vote for their favourite poster in each of the three categories: Age eight and under, age nine to 10 and age 11 to 13. The winning primary school pupils in each category will receive a €150 toy, music, sports, or arts voucher and lots of Le Crunch goodies, as well as a certificate of merit.
The winning posters will be on display from February 25 and voting will remain open as long as stocks of entry forms last. So get into Dunnes by the end of this month and support our local budding artist!
