Second chance to see Galileo man in Cleere’s tonight

For those of you who couldn’t get tickets for Declan O’Rourke’s sold out gig at Cleere’s Theatre just a few weeks ago you will have another chance to hear his enchanting voice and beautiful lyrics.

Having played for two and a half hours on his last visit to Kilkenny, those lucky enough to get a seat in the intimate little theatre will be blown away by O’Rourke’s magical voice and unique musical and song writing ability.

Singing a combination of impressive songs from both his debut album Since Kyabram and his most recent album Big Bad Beautiful World the talented singer songwriter is guaranteed to keep you glued to your seat from start to finish.

Whether you want to be serenaded by the romantic lyrics of Galileo and Marrying the Sea or tap your foot to upbeat songs such as Love is the Way or the recently released song Big bad Beautiful World you will be entertained.

Considering his unique vocal range, quality song list and musical ability it is indeed no surprise that the artist has been compared to legendary singers such as Jackson Browne and Bruce Springsteen. Nor is it surprising that international stars Paul Weller and Kate Rusby are also fans of the charismatic singer.

What sets him apart from other artists of his genre, apart from his distinctive voice and touching lyrics is his understated charm and warm on-stage presence.
