Tennis
A graded charity event will take place from 10-2pm on December 28. John Dempsey and Mary Yates (Carlow ) are the organisers. Teams of eight can enter, with a fee of €160. The event is in aid of the national confederation for the blind.
Frostbite league
The closing date for the Frostbite league will take place on Monday, January 12, 2009. The draw will take place on Thursday, January 15 with play commencing on Monday January 19. Entries will be to the bar along with appropriate payment.
