Dreamstuff Youth Theatre are set to launch yet another dramatic assault on the shocked and awed public of Kilkenny when their 16th production hits the Watergate stage next week.
To mark the occasion Dreamstuff will revive the first play ever staged by the young drama group in 2001, Monty Python’s 'Life of Brian.'
Based on the infamous 1979 film which has been voted the funniest film ever made by several polls, The 'Life of Brian' is guaranteed to have you laughing all the way home.
It’s also been described as blasphemous, mad, bad and dangerous to see. So, to find out which side you belong to, come along, see the play and make up your own mind.
Starring 'Not-The Messiah' and his really loud Mammy, rabid revolutionaries, stupid Roman-type people, suicide squads, holy men, rowdy rabble, lispers, splitters, stoners, hagglers, gigglers and a musical number at the end, this play has everything.
Dreamstuff Youth Theatre are a nice shiny bunch of kids that should be kept off the streets in case they break into spontaneous acting in inappropriate public places.
So support them in the Watergate or suffer their dramatic assaults on the streets of Kilkenny.
The play is performed in a full colour high definition version on the Watergate stage every evening at 8pm from Tuesday December 9 to Saturday December 13. They’ll force you to pay €10 at the box office each night.
However, if you would like the opportuntiy cheat the little sods out of €2 go see the play on Tuesday night when entry will ony cost €8.
