The Fundamentals release new single

Local band The Fundamentals will officially launch their new single, ‘Brother’, with a Kilkenny performance at Flannery’s (formerly the Boston Bar ) on Friday evening, November 21.

‘Brother’ is available now as a download via text from downloadmusic.ie To get your copy of the new single for 99 cents simply text MUSIC 1677 to 57501.

The track features on the band’s 2007 debut album, ‘Past And Present Collide’, although the single download is a new mix of the album track, a driving rock song featuring their trademark strong chorus and propulsive guitars.

Local favourite Stephen Murphy will provide support for the Kilkenny launch, kicking off at 10pm.

The Fundamentals will also appear on local radio station KCLR 96FM on Saturday, November 22 at 9pm with Martin Bridgeman, where they will perform some songs and discuss the new single and the Brother Tour.

The band are currently in the midst of a nationwide tour which has already taken in dates in Port Laoise, Dundalk and Mullingar and will also take in Dublin, Limerick, Bundoran and Boyle.

The album ‘Past And Present Collide’ is currently available on iTunes. For more details on the single, album and tour visit www.myspace.com/thefundamentalsband
