Something for everyone at Langtons this Christmas

It is shaping up to be a Christmas to remember at Langtons in Kilkenny this year, as the famous establishment has gone all out to truly offer something for everyone.

The Langtons Christmas calendar kicks off in earnest on December 3 with the Springbreak 1980s tribute band in the ballroom and a restaurant party night.

Then on Saturday December 10 the Set Theatre hosts the long-awaited Christmas-themed ‘carnival experience’ with Paddy Casey. The event will have a mulled wine reception, with festive finger food on offer also. A similar event, with Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, will take place the following weekend, on December 17.

On Sunday December 11 there is a Santa’s grotto – a magical wonderland for kids – with elves, face painters, and a bouncy castle. Entry of just €12.50 includes lunch, entertainment, and entry to the grotto, as well as a gift from Santa.

Good food, entertainment, and a festive atmosphere are guaranteed, with something for everyone on nearly every night leading up to Christmas.

The week after Christmas is also jam-packed with high-quality entertainment, including a special disco on St Stephen’s Night, Frances Black in the Set Theatre on the Tuesday, and the Wolfe Tones on the Wednesday.

Langtons is the ideal venue for any parties, private functions, or celebrations coming up. Private areas available include the Tea Rooms, Harry’s Bar, upstairs, and the Set Theatre, which can be booked to accommodate groups of any size.
