Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI ) is launching its Torc Pin Campaign in Kilkenny on October 21, to coincide with International Spina Bifida Awareness Month. The aim of the campaign is to raise much needed funds for the vital work of SBHI in Kilkenny, and to raise awareness of spina bifida and hydrocephalus throughout the month.
The campaign will see SBHI distribute pins in the shape of its torc logo via street sellers for one day only. The Torc pins will be on sale throughout the country on October 21, and the charity is calling on the people of Kilkenny to support the campaign.
The Torc pins cost €2 each. Funds from the Torc Campaign will directly benefit SBHI members in areas such as youth development, occupational therapy, job facilitation, family support work, and continence management. SBHI has been providing these supports for almost 45 years.
