One of the busiest and most popular Irish trad sessions this summer has undoubtedly been Bollards Bar Friday night session.
This 'open mike' style session has seen a wide range of musicians with a range of styles partake. Due to popular demand the Friday night trad sessions will continue through the winter and all musicians are welcome to join what promises to be a great night of music.
To commemorate the end of the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Summer Sessions in Kilkenny Castle, Comhaltas will perform a session at 9 pm in Bollards front bar tonight Friday October 7 at 9pm.
As usual there will be no cover charge but there will be a bucket collection the proceeds of which will go to Trocaire. Enjoy a great night of craic and ceoil while doing your bit for charity.
