Kyteler’s Inn on Kieran Street has a host of exciting entertainment lined up for fans for the month of October focusing on tribute bands and cover bands.
Beginning this weekend with Brush Shiels, Keenon Promotions is hosting A Tribute To Talent.
Kytelers is proving itself to be one of the top bars to frequent if live music is what you are after, and enticingly, some of the gigs are free of charge.

Friday October 7, Brush Shiels
Brush is a rock n’ roll domino who cannot relax. He is all shook up like Elvis on craic, knockin’ out all the great Irish tunes like ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, ‘Fields Of Athenry’, and ‘Dirty Old Town’. Still not enough to beat (Brush and his three piece ) the band.
This is a free gig from 9pm in Kyteler’s main bar.
Saturday October 15, Catch a Fire
This is the ultimate Bob Marley tribute act.

Friday October 21, Sinner Boy
Rory Gallagher is still the most influential musician in Ireland today and thousands of budding guitarists make the pilgrimage to Ballyshannon every June to Rock to Rory. Sinner Boy is a five piece from Manchester who are regarded by most fans as the best tribute to Rory Gallagher. Rock the blues out of your system and be prepared to be transported ‘A Million Miles Away’.

Saturday October 22, Blue Valentine
This quintet provide an intimate evening of Tom Waits music, the early stuff from his crooner days. This was a period that saw Waits writing songs such as ‘Martha’, ‘Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You’, ‘Tom Traubert's Blues (Waltzing Mathilda )’, ‘Ol' 55’, ‘The Piano Has Been Drinking’, and ‘Closing Time’. If you are looking for the ‘Heart of Saturday Night’ this is not to be missed.

Saturday October 29, These Charming Men
The Smiths are one of the most respected bands of all time and These Charming Men are considered the most respected tribute to The Smiths, endorsed by both Morrissey and Johnny Marr.
