Alzheimer’s Society receives cheque

The Alzheimer’s Society does exceptional work in helping people affected by Alzheimer’s and their families, but needs continuous funding to be able to keep this important service going.

Bluebird Care, a local private company which provides a high quality care and home help service in the home for people of all ages, made a funding contribution based on the total points scored in the All-Ireland Hurling final. Bluebird Care contributed €10 per point to the Alzheimer’s Association. Total points amounted to 42 (2-17 to 1-16 ).

A big thanks to Kilkenny hurling supremo Michael Fennelly for taking time to present the cheque for €420 to this great cause.
